A civet is a small, lean, mostly nocturnal mammal native to tropical Asia and Africa, especially the tropical forests. The term civet applies to over a dozen different species, mostly from the family Viverridae. Most of the species diversity is found in southeast Asia.

We have observed Civet 81 times world wild from 2021-05-31 till this date with the last observation being in 2022-07-05 in Nigeria.

Our data suggest that Civet are highly active in February, December and January world wild but differences observed on country level, while the lowest activity observed on May and April.

We noticed also the top 3 countries to observe Civet in are: India, Philippines and Bangladesh respectively.
