Centipedes are predatory arthropods belonging to the class Chilopoda of the subphylum Myriapoda, an arthropod group which also includes millipedes and other multi-legged creatures. Centipedes are elongated segmented creatures with one pair of legs per body segment.

We have observed Centipede 68 times world wild from 2021-07-25 till this date with the last observation being in 2022-07-06 in Poland.

Our data suggest that Centipede are highly active in January, March and November world wild but differences observed on country level, while the lowest activity observed on September and May.

We noticed also the top 3 countries to observe Centipede in are: Brazil, Philippines and Germany respectively.

Cameroon, on the Gulf of Guinea, is a Central African country of varied terrain and wildlife. Its inland capital, Yaoundé, and its biggest city, the seaport Douala, are transit points to ecotourism sites as well as beach resorts like Kribi – near the Chutes de la Lobé waterfalls, which plunge directly into the sea – and Limbe, where the Limbe Wildlife Centre houses rescued primates.
We have observed a total of 18 species in Cameroon with more than 22 identifications.
