Bats are mammals of the order Chiroptera. With their forelimbs adapted as wings, they are the only mammals capable of true and sustained flight. Bats are more manoeuvrable than birds, flying with their very long spread-out digits covered with a thin membrane or patagium. There are 47 species of bats living in the United States. Bats live in many types of environments except in extremely cold places (polar regions) and extremely hot ones (deserts). Bats are important pollinators and help to control the population of insects. These animals are social and live in groups that can number in the hundreds of thousands! Though vampire bats are the most well-known, there are only three species of bat that use another animal’s blood as food.

We have observed Bat 69 times world wild from 2021-07-29 till this date with the last observation being in 2022-07-06 in United Kingdom.

Our data suggest that Bat are highly active in September, January and March world wild but differences observed on country level, while the lowest activity observed on October and November.

We noticed also the top 3 countries to observe Bat in are: France, Mexico and Costa Rica respectively.
