Cranes are a family, the Gruidae, of large, long-legged, and long-necked birds in the group Gruiformes. The 15 species of cranes are placed in three genera, Antigone, Balearica, and Grus. Unlike the similar-looking but unrelated herons, cranes fly with necks outstretched, not pulled back.

We have observed Crane 19 times world wild from 2021-07-09 till this date with the last observation being in 2022-07-10 in Italy.

Our data suggest that Crane are highly active in July, December and August world wild but differences observed on country level, while the lowest activity observed on March and September.

We noticed also the top 3 countries to observe Crane in are: Philippines, United States and Italy respectively.
