The African buffalo is a large sub-Saharan African bovine. Syncerus caffer caffer, the Cape buffalo, is the typical subspecies, and the largest one, found in Southern and East Africa.

We have observed Cape Buffalo 7 times world wild from 2021-09-22 till this date with the last observation being in 2022-03-09 in United States.

Our data suggest that Cape Buffalo are highly active in January, September and February world wild but differences observed on country level, while the lowest activity observed on March and October.

We noticed also the top 3 countries to observe Cape Buffalo in are: India, United States and South Africa respectively.
