The grey parrot, also known as the Congo grey parrot, Congo African grey parrot or African grey parrot, is an Old World parrot in the family Psittacidae. The Timneh parrot once was identified as a subspecies of the grey parrot, but has since been elevated to a full species.

We have observed African Grey Parrot 22 times world wild from 2021-06-06 till this date with the last observation being in 2022-07-29 in .

Our data suggest that African Grey Parrot are highly active in June, December and January world wild but differences observed on country level, while the lowest activity observed on August and February.

We noticed also the top 3 countries to observe African Grey Parrot in are: Cameroon, United Kingdom and Jordan respectively.

Location Information

Cameroon, on the Gulf of Guinea, is a Central African country of varied terrain and wildlife. Its inland capital, Yaoundé, and its biggest city, the seaport Douala, are transit points to ecotourism sites as well as beach resorts like Kribi – near the Chutes de la Lobé waterfalls, which plunge directly into the sea – and Limbe, where the Limbe Wildlife Centre houses rescued primates.
We have observed a total of 18 species in Cameroon with more than 22 identifications.
