The budgerigar, also known as the common parakeet or shell parakeet, is a small, long-tailed, seed-eating parrot usually nicknamed the budgie, or in American English, the parakeet. Budgies are the only species in the genus Melopsittacus.

We have observed Budgerigar 165 times world wild from 2021-02-23 till this date with the last observation being in 2022-07-11 in United States.

Our data suggest that Budgerigar are highly active in March, February and July world wild but differences observed on country level, while the lowest activity observed on November and April.

We noticed also the top 3 countries to observe Budgerigar in are: India, Brazil and Peru respectively.
