The Bernese Mountain Dog is a large dog breed, one of the four breeds of Sennenhund-type dogs from the Swiss Alps. These dogs have roots in the Roman mastiffs. The name Sennenhund is derived from the German Senne and Hund, as they accompanied the alpine herders and dairymen called Senn.

We have observed Bernese Mountain Dog 10 times world wild from 2022-03-11 till this date with the last observation being in 2022-07-10 in Chile.

Our data suggest that Bernese Mountain Dog are highly active in April, March and July world wild but differences observed on country level, while the lowest activity observed on July and June.
